District Winery is a beautiful winery and restaurant venue on the waterfront of Washington DC. It hosts many weddings each year and attracts many visitors. It’s located along the Anacostia River very close to National’s Park. Many young couples love the city location and the modern vibe of the space. Denisha and Rob enjoyed a beautiful afternoon wedding celebration there this past spring. The color palette was blush, ivory and white. Wildflower Hill Company added an abundant amount of candles to the space which set the tone for love and romance. We used popular quicksand roses, tibet roses and smilax to design a modern and romantic theme for the ceremony arch and the guest tables. The couple elected to repurpose the ceremony arch, so we placed it behind the sweetheart table for the reception. This is such a smart way to get the most enjoyment from your wedding flowers. Lastly, they chose Couture Cakes by Sabrina to design exquisite mini wedding cakes with intricate sugar flowers. The entire wedding was such a visual treat.
