Maya and Darian were referred to me by one of my past brides. Maya was a very relaxed bride to be and so much fun to work with. The chosen venue for their April wedding was the George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, VA. The temple houses many artifacts from George Washington and the Washington family and is simply stunning. It has breathtaking views of Washington DC and the surrounding suburbs. Maya and Darian wanted a fun, colorful party atmosphere for their wedding with modern touches. Maya chose coral, fuchsia, orange and pale blue for her wedding flower colors. She decided on tall and low centerpieces for the reception space. The tall centerpieces pieces rested on linear gold stands and the low pieces were designed in matte gold cylinder vases. The vibe was playful and colorful but very elegant. Maya and Darian had a traditional Indian ceremony the day before and she asked me to design their wedding garlands. Maya was a vision in her custom champagne gown and Darian was quite handsome in his tux. It was a beautiful day and the entire team of professionals did an amazing job. Special thanks to Manali Photography for her wonderful photos.
